The Honorable Mrs. Leela Devi Dookun-Luchoomun, G.C.S.K, Vice-Prime Minister, Minister of Education, Tertiary Education, Science and Technology and The Honourable Soodesh Callichurn, Minister of Labour, Human Resource Development and Training, Minister of Commerce and Consumer Protection will be the Chief Guests at the ceremony.
The MSc AI programme was implemented and fully funded under the HRDC’s Skills Development Support Programme for Artificial Intelligence. The Skills Development Support Programme for AI was launched in April 2019 with the aim to proactively respond to skills needs of the industry. The 18 employees who completed the Master’s degree course are from 14 enterprises operating in diverse economic sectors.
This course was designed to allow graduates to develop core data analysis skills and explore both traditional and state-of-the-art aspects of AI and machine learning.
The objectives of the course were to:
